Update

Just a quick look at some Easter cards I made this year:
Anna Griffin and DeNami together!

Also took a class for one of the latest Penny Black boards:

I have to admit it was fun, though water color is not
 real easy for me.

And...it's been one year with our Skye Terrier Doogle,
who came to us at the age of 12.

He's been a real blessing since we had to say good-bye
to our young Skye at the age of 4 shortly after Christmas.
Lily has now lost 2 best friends but she's got Doogle
until her new sister arrives!
(We hope!)
Thanks so much for stopping by...

Anna Griffin inspiration

I've gotten some new Anna Griffin
embossing folders and dies.
Such pretty things can't help but
produce pretty cards!

For some reason the white trim does not show
all the way around in this photo.
Love these new folders with embossed
sentiments and windows!

These new bow dies are so elegant!
Wasn't hard to make some special Christmas cards!

I also made some simpler cards to give for our
card ministry at church:

I made a nice large mixed pack of cards, but I'm
not so good at remembering to take
pictures...
Thanks for visiting!

Penny Black Simplicity

While my style of card making tends to
to more the unique and pretty,
and I do like to dabble in the
Anna Griffin elegance!
The style that intrigues me most and
I'm trying hard to learn is
Clean and Simple!
So I tried with my Valentines this year.

Some cold days have kept me inside
and stamping!
But I'm ready for some spring!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Ah, finally time to start my Christmas cards.
Sometimes simple is best.
The pretty blue metallic color in the side border
does not show so well...

I'm linking it to the DeNami Challenge #14.
It's fun to have a way to get me going!
Take a look at the beautiful cards and
enjoy some DeNami inspiration!
Thanks for taking a look!

Time for some stamping!

I don't know where the time has gone!
I have finally gotten to do some fall stamping...
even though we have snow on the ground
here in Wisconsin!

The first card I did was playing
with my girlfriend's new die.
She let me play first!
It makes a beautiful tag with leaves cut out.

Then I got started on some
Thanksgiving cards!

Bottom card is an elegant, simple card with
a note card tucked into a pocket.

Now, I better get started on
Christmas cards...
seems many already have them done!

Thanks for stopping by,
it's been way too long!

Embossing

I like the way simple embossing can change a card!

It seems I'm doing more fussy cutting lately!
But these DeNami images make it so easy!

Start with some pretty paper...

I've been able to get a little time up in my room
and enjoyed some card making.
I've started making cards for our Women's group
at church since they mail out to members of our congregation
for various needs.
Thought homemade cards might be more special than
the boxed ones from the store...

Hoping your summer is as nice as ours has been lately!
It took a long time to come but now it is so nice
and not too hot!
